Privacy Notice

μTable provides games at microtable.app. Privacy questions and requests: privacy@microtable.app.

We do not sell personal information, serve advertisements, build advertising profiles or track you across other websites.

Information and purposes

We process connection identifiers, invitation and recovery information to connect players and restore rooms; network and device information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service; and page visits, performance and limited game events, including results, approximate timing and country, to understand usage and reliability. If you contact us, we use your email, message and attachments to respond.

Your browser stores game progress, preferences and diagnostics. Local saves are not cloud backups. Game content is exchanged with participants, including the host where applicable; our connection servers do not store moves, drawings or guesses. Participants may learn your network address. Diagnostics are not uploaded unless you share them.

Where applicable, processing is based on providing the service you request, legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving it, or your consent.

Usage measurement

We use Umami, a cookieless analytics service, to understand visits, traffic sources, game and feature usage, and connection reliability. It measures page visits and limited game events, including results and timing, along with browser, device, language and approximate location information. We also use Cloudflare measurements for usage and performance.

To estimate daily game activity, this browser keeps one local date marker and reports its first saved gameplay action each UTC day. The marker is shared across games in this browser and is not a player identifier. Its value and game content are not sent with that activity event.

Your browser connects directly to Umami. Umami processes your IP address and browser information to estimate visitors and sessions using a periodically changing identifier; it does not store your IP address as a standard analytics field. We do not use analytics cookies or track you across other websites. Invitation credentials, player and room identifiers, and game content are excluded; page addresses and referrers are filtered before sending.

Sharing and retention

We use providers for hosting, connections, analytics and support. Information may be processed outside your region. Umami’s data processing terms include standard contractual clauses and a UK transfer addendum where applicable. Contact us for information about applicable transfer safeguards. We may also disclose information where legally required or necessary to address abuse or protect safety.

Retention depends on room recovery, security, measurement and resolving support requests. Connection and measurement records have expiry or cleanup schedules; browser data may remain until replaced or cleared. Other participants and providers retain their own copies.

Our first-party game-event details have a 30-day retention window and daily totals a 90-day window. We use Umami Cloud’s US data region for analytics storage. Umami analytics records are retained for six months; backup copies follow the provider’s backup cycles, and some records may be retained where legally required. The data region does not restrict all provider processing to the United States. See Umami’s retention and region information and privacy notice.

Your choices and rights

You can remove saved rooms where available or clear this site's browser data. This cannot delete other participants' copies and may prevent game recovery.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent where applicable. Email privacy@microtable.app; we may need to verify your request and explain any limits. You may also complain to your local privacy authority.

We may be unable to locate measurement records about you because we do not link analytics identifiers to your name or email. If you provide information that helps us identify relevant records, we will assess your request using that information. Parents and guardians can also contact us with privacy concerns about a child using μTable.
